All the sights, sounds and smells of a foreign country are bound to have an intoxicating effect on the photographer. Of course there is a huge difference between taking a few snapshots to show your friends when you get back and creating a serious photographic record of your stay.
Travel photography is a subject that requires dedication, hard word and patience, so if you want to return home with a selection of fantastically successful pictures, whether you are a novice or or whether you are already a bit of a pro looking to discover more advanced techniques, you will get all of this and more when you join professional photographer's on a photography workshop into Africa.
Africa is vast and diverse in climate, terrain and wildlife, and the photographic possibilities are endless! Landscape and wildlife photography offer the greatest opportunities, and we give clients the chance to work alongside a professional and to ask questions while learning; you'll be able to look through our cameras and see what framing we choose.... our primary emphasis will be traveling to the best locations for the best light, and this will often mean long days of both travel and shooting.
Our photographic safari will be set in the most exquisite spots and we will be staying at the best lodges for wildlife and luxury. Most photographers agree that an African photo safari is the ultimate destination for their photographic interests. African safaris allow you to experience the wildlife up close and in their own element.
We encourage you to ask questions, try out different techniques, experiment with dramatic lighting and learn from not only a professional photographer, but you will also pick up tips from the other members in the group.
